Belize City store robbed at gunpoint

By BBN Staff: A Belize City grocery store was robbed by two men earlier this evening.

Yu Qiong Chen, the owner of Eric Supermarket located on Bachelor Avenue, reported to police that two fully-masked men entered her store around 5:25 p.m.

One of the men pulled out a firearm and robbed her of an undisclosed amount of money.

The men also robbed her of some scratch tickets and then escaped.

Police are investigating.
