Farmer in Adjacency Zone claims Belize Defence Force officers destroyed his farm

By BBN Staff: Local news outlets in Peten, Guatemala are reporting that a farmer near Poptun, Peten that is located in the Adjacency Zone is claiming that 30 officers of the Belize Defence Force destroyed his home.

The farmer, Don Felipe is seen in a video describing what allegedly occurred at his home. The farmer says that he was tied to a tree.

The farm is seen destroyed and burnt to the ground.

However, at this time, neither Belizean nor Guatemalan authorities have confirmed the incident.
