Centers for Disease Control temporarily bans importation of dogs from Belize

By Zoila Palma: The U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) issued a notice on June 14 temporarily banning the importation of dogs entering the United States.

Dogs were banned from entering the US from several high-risk rabies countries including Belize.

Those wishing to take their pets can apply for a CDC dog import permit or contact U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
