Ministry of Health and Wellness to announce additional COVID-19 measures today

By Zoila Palma: Today, the Ministry of Health and Wellness will host a press conference at 2 p.m. to announce additional COVID-19 prevention measures.

Minister of Health and Wellness, Michel Chebat says that those new measures will take effect on Sunday.

The daily increase of COVID-19 cases detected in Belize have prompted the ministry to implement the new measures.

To date, there are 234 active cases of COVID-19.

Six people are hospitalized and 1 is admitted in the Intensive Care Unit.
