“Special COVID award” during September Celebrations

By Aaron Humes: Prime Minister John Briceño has announced a special token to be awarded hopefully once in a lifetime.

During the Tribute to Belizean Patriots to be held during the September Celebrations, a “Special COVID Award” medal will be presented to various frontline workers in recognition for their service during the pandemic.

In honor of their service, the P.M. said, the country should rally behind the coming vaccination campaign and put shoulders to the wheel to bring down the numbers of active cases, now at 234 pending today’s data.
