By Rubén Morales Iglesias: 433 head of cattle are being exported to Mexico.

Mexican importer SuKarne said they are importing 348 head from Shipyard and 85 from Blue Creek.

The cattle were inspected from Monday to Wednesday by a Mexican veterinarian sent by SENASICA, the Mexican animal health authority.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise (MAFSE) said 498 were quarantined, 408 in Shipyard and 88 in Blue Creek, for this exportation.

The cattle will be transported to the state of Michoacán approximately 1,250 miles from the Belize-Mexico border said a SuKarne representative.

SuKarne has previously imported cattle from Blue Creek.
