By Zoila Palma: On July 1, 2021, Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, Gaston Browne, assumed the Chairmanship of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
PM Browne succeeds Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Keith Rowley, and will serve for the next 6 months.
The Antigua and Barbuda Prime Minster hold responsibility for Services in the CARICOM Quasi Cabinet.
He will chair the virtual 42nd meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government which begins on Monday, July 5th, 2021.
