BEL announces power outage for Belize City on Sunday for power line upgrades

By Ruben Morales Iglesias: BEL announces a planned power outage for Belize City on Sunday, July 4, from 8 am to 4 pm.

The affected zone will be:

“Areas along Philip Goldson Highway from Henderson Avenue at Mile 2.5 to Fen Lan at Mile 4.5 including Ariel Rosado Avenue, Chetumal Street from Philip Goldson Highway to Park Avenue, entire Bella Vista, Belama Phases 2, 3, and 4, and North End Estate.”

BEL said the cuts are “to conduct necessary power line upgrades in the area.”
