Robbers at Belize Healthcare Partners make off with cash and cellphones

By Benjamin Flowers: This morning, two men robbed Belize Healthcare Partners Limited in Belize city, making off with cash and cellphones from the employees.

Security guard Edmund Williams, 53, told police that the men came around 7:45 a.m. and pointed a gun at him. They stole his phone and his wallet containing $170. Then men then turned their attention to cashier Shaney Sanchez, 21, taking $500 from one cash pan and an undisclosed amount of cash from another cash pan, along with her phone.

The men then fled the scene in a red SUV.

Police are investigating.
