Almost 50 new cases of COVID-19 detected

By Benjamin Flowers: The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) has reported that there have been almost 50 newly identified cases of COVID-19 detected between the weekend and today.

The Ministry’s latest daily update, which covers the period July 3 -5, showed 48 new cases were detected among a sample batch of 2,553 tests.

Of the new cases, 26 were female and 22 were male.

The three-day positivity rate was 1.90, while the country’s national total for confirmed cases now stands at 13,391.

There were no new deaths connected to the virus reported.
