Belize Weather: Mix of showers and sunshine countrywide continues

Relatively moist conditions prevailing, according to the National Meteorological Service, support the development of showers and isolated thunderstorms over the south and some coastal areas this morning and tonight and over the interior in the afternoon, but skies will be generally sunny with some cloudy spells.

High temperatures are 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 94 degrees inland and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures will reach 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 76 degrees inland and 70 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 5 to 15 knots and sea state is light chop.

Tides will be low at 1:59 this afternoon then high at 8:07 in the evening.

Sunset is at 6:31 this evening and sun rise Tuesday morning is at 5:23.

On Tuesday skies will be cloudy with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms, mostly inland and in the south.
