Phoenix Suns take Game 1 of NBA Finals, nail Milwaukee Bucks 118-105

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Phoenix Suns won Game 1 of the NBA Finals 118-105 over the Milwaukee Bucks in convincing fashion last night in Phoenix.

The game was rather balanced in the first half but by the third quarter, the Suns had built a 20-lead. The Bucks battle back and got within seven in the final quarter, but the Suns never looked in trouble of letting it slip away.

Chris Paul led the way for Phoenix with 32 points, Devin Booker added 27, while Deandre Ayton netted 22-point and pulled 19 rebounds.

For the Bucks, their main driving force was Khris Middleton scoring 29 points. Giannis Antetokounmpo, still nursing a left-knee injury, was not as strong as he usually is but was still good for 20 points and 17 rebounds.

Phoenix will look to take a 2-0 lead tonight in Game 2, but the Bucks will be out to deny them as they don’t want to go back home without a win. Makes for a good night of basketball.
