More than 10 patients currently hospitalized due to COVID-19

By Benjamin Flowers: As the number of reported COVID-19 cases continues to rise, the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) is reporting that over 10 patients have been hospitalized due to the virus.

The MOHW’s latest report shows that 12 patients have been hospitalized in regular COVID-19 units and two are receiving critical care in Intensive Care Units.

The Ministry has also reported 24 newly recovered patients, split between 13 females and 11 males.

The national total for recoveries now stands at 12,848, and the national recovery rate stands at 95.0.

The MOHW notes that there are 322 active cases of COVID-19 and another 496 suspected cases under investigation.
