By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Leon O’Brien won the Belize City Council’s 5-mile race quite comfortably on Saturday in Belize City clocking 26 minutes and 23 seconds winning himself $200.
The race started at the Marion Jones Sporting Complex, headed to the Baron Bliss Lighthouse, and returned to the Marion Jones.
Brandon Adolphus ran in second in 28:57 and won $120.
Niccolo Rudon won himself $60 as he took 3rd place in 30:16.
Alejandro Baptisit was 4th in 30:44 and Ian ‘Lionman’ Gordon was 5th in 31:28.
