Belize Water Services: Temporary disruption of service planned for Belize City on Tuesday

By BBN Staff: Belize Water Services (BWS) has announced a planned interruption of service to affect several parts of Belize City on Tuesday, July 13.

BWS said that the disruption will last from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Areas to be affected include Central American Boulevard, from Faber’s Road to Caesar Ridge Road, Jane Usher Boulevard area, including Freedom Street, Malcolm Street, Trinity Street, & Unity Street, and Belama area, bounded by Chetumal Street to Phase 4 and the Philip Goldson Highway to Haulover Creek, including Phases 2, 3, and 4.

“Motorists are being advised of the following street closure: Albert Hoy Street, from Clifton Betson Street to T.V. Ramos Street,” BWS said.

The company explained that the interruption is necessary to facilitate the installation of fire hydrants and valves.
