Planned power outage in San Ignacio scheduled for tomorrow

By BBN Staff: Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) has announced a planned power outage in San Ignacio Town for tomorrow, Wednesday, July 14.

The outage is set to last from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon.

Areas to be affected include 18th St, Awe St, 17th St, Flamingo St, 11th St, 9th St, a portion on Bullet Tree Rd, 6th St, 7th St, 9th St, and Teodocio Ochoa St.

BEL said that the outage is necessary “to install distribution structure & energize newly built high voltage lines and transformer to improve quality of power supply to customers in the area.”
