Police issue traffic advisory for travelers on Philip Goldson Highway following oil spill

By BBN Staff: The Belize Police Department issued a traffic advisory this morning for drivers and motorists traveling on the Philip Goldson Highway, warning them to take extreme caution due to a road traffic accident.

“Earlier this morning there was a minor RTA involving a crane between miles 5 and 6 on the Philip Goldson Highway. As a result, there was a minor oil spill on the highway,” Police explained.

The department said that personnel are currently on the scene trying to clean the highway, but in the interim, drivers are asked to drive with caution.
