COVID-19 update 2: Toledo, Orange Walk lead new case table

By Aaron Humes: The South Stann Creek and southeastern Toledo Districts remain spots of concern in the new COVID-19 active case table.

Of the nine active cases reported from the Toledo District, four are in Santa Ana village; two in Bella Vista (Toledo side); and one each in Conejo Creek, Indian Creek, and San Felipe.

Orange Walk reported four cases in Carmelita village, south of Orange Walk Town with two. North of the Sugar City there is one case in Trial Farm.

The Belize District has five cases, three in Ladyville, one each in Hattieville and Lords’ Bank. Separately, San Pedro Town has four cases.

One case has been reported in Independence village, Stann Creek District, and none in either Corozal or Cayo District.

The cumulative district case totals are as follows: Belize District (mainland), 3,508; Cayo District, 2,697; Orange Walk, 2,651; Corozal, 1,625; Stann Creek, 1,567; Toledo, 937; and San Pedro, 628.
