National Time Trial Champion Oscar Quiroz, Byron Pope, Giovanni Lovell off to Chicago to compete in the Intelligentsia Cup

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: National Time Trial Champion and Road Subchampion Oscar Quiroz of 501 Valvoline Cycling Team, Giovanni Lovell of G-Flow Cycling Team, and Byron Pope of Westrac Cycling are traveling to Chicago to compete in the Intelligentsia Cup.

Quiroz and Pope are leaving Belize today while Lovell left for the United States earlier.

They’ll be joining Kaya Cattouse who traveled yesterday.

The Intelligentsia Cup is a rigorous cycling event that in which cyclists from all over the United States compete in eleven different categories throughout ten days with a one-day break.

The Intelligentsia Cup will run from July16-25.

Quiroz, Lovell and Pope are competing in the Men’s Category 2.

Kaya is riding for the C Ray D. Banner cycling team in the Women’s Category 2.
