Minister of Home Affairs & New Growth Industries Kareem Musa visits Punta Gorda, Independence

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: On his fourth day of the National Tour of the Belize Police Department, Minister of Home Affairs & New Growth Industries Kareem Musa visited Punta Gorda and Independence/Mango Creek on Friday.

Minister Musa is familiarizing himself with the police stations and police officers countrywide.

On Friday, Minister Musa inspected the guard of honor at both places. Along with his team, he also inspected the police stations, had group meetings with the police officers and had one-on-one discussions with police officers who requested an audience.

Minister Musa was being accompanied by the Chief Executive Officer, Kevin Arthurs; Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams, Southern Regional Commander, Senior Superintendent Daniel Arzu; COMPOL’s Staff Officer, Superintendent Clement Cacho; the President of the BPD Association, Sergeant Jermaine Hyde, and other support staff.

On Day Five, Minister Musa visit the Cayo District.
