Biscayne man charged with aggravated burglary; claims he is being framed

Posted: Monday, July 19, 2021. 8:29 pm CST.

By BBN Staff: A resident of Biscayne Village, who was arraigned today on a charge of aggravated burglary with a firearm, is claiming that he is being framed.

Kamron Jamaal Dominquez, 22, tried to give the court his explanation today as he appeared before Chief Magistrate, Sharon Fraser; however, since the offense was committed with a firearm, Dominguez could not enter a plea because the matter will be heard in the Supreme Court.

The allegation against him is that he entered the home of Ada Meighan Jex on July 2, armed with a gun, and stole cash and other valuables amounting to over $38,000.

Bail could not be granted at the Magistrate’s Court level, so he was remanded to the Belize Central Prison until September 17, 2021.
