By Aaron Humes: The village of Santa Elena in the Toledo District saw 14 new cases in three days, the most among all villages.
Meanwhile, San Pedro Town recorded 18 new cases, most of all municipalities over the weekend.
Belize City added 12 new cases; three in Ladyville, two in Lords Bank and one each in Burrell Boom and Hattieville for a total of 19 in the mainland Belize District.
Punta Gorda Town has three new cases, Crique Sarco four, two each in San Antonio and Sunday Wood, and one each in Bella Vista, Cattle Landing, Indian Creek, and Medina Bank.
The Stann Creek District added a case each in Hopkins, San Roman and Santa Cruz.
In Cayo, there new cases were reported in central Belmopan and another in Maya Mopan; two each in the Twin Towns, Spanish Lookout and San Antonio.
The central strip of the Orange Walk District added nine new cases – two in Orange Walk Town, four in Carmelita, one in San Jose Palmar and two in Trial Farm, and there was another case reported in Cristo Rey, Corozal District.
The cumulative number of cases to date is as follows: Belize (Mainland), 3,556; Cayo, 2,707; Orange Walk, 2,679; Corozal, 1,625; Stann Creek, 1,575; Toledo, 975; and San Pedro, 655.
