By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belizean Kaya Cattouse finished in 2nd position on Monday in the Mundelain Grand Prix at Mundelein, Illinois. The second-place finish comes on Day 4 of 10-day Intelligentsia Cup in and around Chicago, Illinois, following her 3rd place finish on Day 2 on Saturday and her 8th place on Day 3 on Sunday.

Riding for C-RAY D. Banner cycling team, Kaya rode in second behind Megan Sybeldon of Artemis Racing.

Following Sunday’s win in the Men’s Category 3, on Monday, Jafari Castro of Project BZE finished 5th in the Intelligentsia Cup Day 4 in the Mundelain Grand Prix at Mundelein, Illinois.

Project BZE has been doing well in the United States Criteriums recording three wins up to date. Prior to Jafari’s win on Sunday, his brother Wasani won the Sunny King Criterium in Piedmont, Alabama and before that Henry Li had won the Tulsa Tough.

Unfortunately, Li did not finish Monday’s criterium.

Byron Pope of Westrac Cycling, however, finished 41st.

In Category 4, an 8th Belizean cyclist Deandy Ordonez riding for Ordonez Bike Shop, finished in the 30th position.
