By BBN Staff: A Belize City businessman was robbed at gunpoint inside his laundromat last night.
Sarwar Hussan, 28, told police that he was in his establishment Sattar Grocery store and Laundry mat, located on No.14 Corner Seagull and Raccoon Street, around 7:45 p.m. when the perpetrator walked in.
The man pulled out a firearm and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and then fired a single shot inside the store while making his escape.
No one was injured in the incident.
Police are investigating
