By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Friends for Conservation and Development (FCD) said that it is conducting water testing in the Chiquibul Forest.
FCD said on a social media post that they are getting support from the Belize Nature Conservation Foundation, to carry out “water quality monitoring in the streams and rivers of the Chiquibul Forest.”
“This time the water testing was undertaken in Smokey Branch,” said FCD.
“The water quality monitoring goes in line with the national water quality monitoring initiative being spearheaded by the Department of the Environment,” the statement added.
