Two arrested for lighting tires in protest of shooting death of Laddie Gillett murder

By BBN Staff: Two men who allegedly lit tires on the George Price Highway in Camalote on Tuesday night found themselves arrested having “set a bon-fire without permission of a police officer.”

The two men, 19-year-old Landy Thomas and 26-year-old Wayne Zelaya, allegedly lit the tires on the George Price Highway on Tuesday night as a way of protesting the killing of 14-year-old Laddie Gillett in Placencia.
