Posted: Friday, July 23, 2021. 8:00 am CST.

By Aaron Humes: Police visited Green Street, the site of a house fire around 7:30 Thursday night.

The plywood elevated house with zinc roofing was already engulfed in flames and could not be saved.

A neighbor called 911 after seeing smoke from the property at 7:15. He says that the persons who last occupied the house moved out three months ago.

Police have yet to locate one Keisha Miller, other particulars not given, the believed owner of the premises.

The house and its contents were completely destroyed, their value is unknown and no one was injured.

The cause of the fire is still being determined by the National Fire Service as police investigate.
