Eighteen more patients recover from COVID-19

The national total for COVID-19 cases is approaching 14,000

By Benjamin Flowers: The number of Belizeans who have contracted COVID-19 is approaching 14,000 according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

The Ministry’s latest national update shows that there are 25 newly confirmed cases, detected from a sample batch of 1,088 tests. The new cases were split between 10 females and 15 males, with a daily positivity rate of 2.31.

The new cases have brought the national total up to 13,917.

There were no new deaths related to the virus.
