BREAKING: Armed robbery of Chinese store on Bullet Tree Road in San Ignacio

By BBN Staff: Breaking Belize News (BBN) has confirmed that there was an armed robbery earlier this afternoon of a Chinese store on Bullet Tree road in San Ignacio.

According to eyewitnesses, two (2) dark complexion male persons entered the store, identified as Super Q Mart, and one of the men pointed a gun at the store owner. The men stole a cell phone along with an undisclosed amount of cash. The robbers then made good their escape.

The incident was captured on camera but as the robbers wore masks it is difficult to identify them from the video footage.

Police in Cayo are investigating this latest armed robbery.
