Belize City man shot to the back

By BBN Staff: A Belize City man is receiving medical treatment after being shot to his back.

Police say that Ryan Foster, 26, was riding his bicycle on Sarstoon Street along with another man on a separate bicycle when they were approached from behind by two men double-riding on a bicycle.

One of the men pulled out a gun and fired several shots injuring Foster before making their escape.

Foster was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.

Police are seeking two known suspects in an ongoing investigation.
