Police make arrest in weekend stabbing incident

By BBN Staff: Police have arrested a man in connection with a stabbing that occurred on Saturday.

Police have formally charged Valentine Tablada Jr., 24, in connection with the stabbing of Emerson Reyes, 28.

Reports are that Reyes was socializing in Hattieville Village sometime after 10:00 p.m. on Saturday when he got into an altercation with three men.

During that altercation, one of those men, later identified as Tablada, stabbed him with a knife. Reyes was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) for treatment where he is listed as being in stable condition.
