By Benjamin Flowers: The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) said today that almost 5,000 people were vaccinated over the past two days, as the country-wide vaccination campaign continues.

The Ministry issued a two-day vaccination report this morning covering July 26 and 27, which showed a total of 4,990 people were vaccinated against COVID-19.

A total of 124,932 people have been vaccinated ( received their first shot) while the number of fully vaccinated people (received both shots) has gone up to 48,141.

The Ministry’s data includes those who have received both the AstraZeneca and Sinopharm vaccines.

Anyone wishing to make an appointment for vaccination can do so at https://vrsa.health.gov.bz/

Vaccinated persons are still required by law to wear face masks in public, social distance, and abide by all other regulations in place to prevent the spread of the virus.
