BWS calls 20th Annual General Meeting for Friday, August 27

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: In a notice to minority shareholders, Belize Water Service said it’s having its 20th Annual General Meeting at 12:30 pm on Friday August 27, 2021. BWS said the meeting will be held virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The BWS Board of Directors told its members it’s paying “dividends of 7.5 cents ($0.075) per share (equivalent to 5%) for the year ending March 31, 2021.”

However, BWS advised its shareholders that it will not be paying in cheques, but by bank deposits directly to each shareholder’s bank or credit union account by August 13.

Shareholders who have not provided BWS with their banking information should complete the form with that information and submit it to BWS by Friday August 6, 2021.
