More than 50 recoveries from COVID-19 reported

By BBN Staff: Over the past two days, more than 50 people have managed to recover from COVID-19 infection according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW).

The MOHW’s latest national update, which covers July 27-28, shows 56 patients have newly recovered. Those recoveries were split between 29 females and 27 males.

The national total for recoveries now stands at 13,311, and the national recovery rate stands at 94.6.

There were five patients still hospitalized due to the virus, but none receiving critical care in an intensive care unit (ICU).

The MOHW notes that there are 403 active cases of COVID-19 and another 219 suspected cases under investigation.
