By Aaron Humes: A trio of deliverymen for Bowen and Bowen Limited’s operation in Punta Gorda Town was, this afternoon, relieved of the day’s sales money for their company, according to police.
Driver Richard Valerio, accompanied by Thomas Coleman and Edilberto Sanchez, was coming out of Santa Ana village along the San Felipe Road just before 1 p.m. this afternoon when they were stopped by two masked men in long sleeves, pointing a pistol at them.
After taking the safe containing daily sales the pair fled toward Jacintoville junction on a motorcycle and escaped.
Both men were dressed in a camouflage long sleeve shirt and dark long pants and wore sleeve masks and gloves, one is about 5ft 6inches tall and the other about 4ft 10inches.
Police are investigating.
