By BBN Staff: Today, Minister of Home Affairs and New Growth Industries, Kareem Musa’s country-wide tour of police stations took him to Cayo to meet with officers from the Belmopan Police Formation & Roaring Creek Sub-Station.
Musa has been on the tour since early July, speaking with officers in the various districts and assessing the condition of their work environment.
“During this tour, Minister Musa did the inspection of the Guard, met with the entire personnel of Belmopan & Roaring Creek Police, said ‘thank you’ & listened to concerns & issues from the police officers & handed out recognition of appreciation to outstanding officers who were highlighted for outstanding duties performed by their commanders,” the police department said in a statement this evening.
Musa was accompanied by Commissioner of Police Chester Williams, Assistant Commissioner of Police Marlon Allen – Western Regional Commander (WRC), Deputy WRC – Senior Superintendent Roy Joseph, Acting OC Belmopan – Assistant Superintendent (ASP) Elroy Carcamo & OC Roaring Creek Sub-Station, and ASP Denroy Barrow.
The tour resumes next week, with a tour of Belize City stations on Tuesday.
