By Benjamin Flowers: Almost 50,000 Belizeans have been fully vaccinated from COVID-19 (received two vaccine doses), according to the latest vaccination report from the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

The report, issued today, shows that 49,681 people have been fully vaccinated.

There were 2,714 people vaccinated as of July 29, 2021, raising the number of vaccinated people (received at least one shot) up to 128,768.

The Government of Belize is aiming to vaccinate at least 80 percent of the total over 18 population. All Belizeans 18 years and over can arrange a vaccination appointment by going to https://vrsa.health.gov.bz/

Vaccinated persons are still required by law to wear face masks in public, social distance, and abide by all other regulations in place to prevent the spread of the virus.
