By BBN Staff: Today the San Pedro Town Council announced that there will be new fees charged to cross the Sir Barry Bowen Bridge in the municipality as of August 15.
According to the public notice issued by the council, utility and goods trucks will pay $500; taxis and hotel transport vans will pay $350, golf cart rentals will pay $250, and private motor vehicles will pay $150.
The council notes that payments will be made exclusively at the San Pedro Town Council cashier and that a sticker will be issued as proof of payment.
The council noted that motorcycles and private golf carts are exempt from these fees.
