By Rubén Morales Iglesias: 501 Valvoline’s Derrick Chavarria won the Overall and Elite categories in the 32-mile Cano’s Road Rage Monday cycling 32-mile race on the George Price Boulevard in Belmopan according to organizer Tarique Cano Aguilar.
G-Flow’s Shawn Codd was second. Two 501 Valvoline riders came in next. Joslyn Chavarria Jr finished 3rd and Joshua Fuller ran in 4th. Westrac Cycling’s Byron Pope was 5th.
501 Valvoline’s Derrick Chavarria won the Junior Category followed by Tyler Tejeda.
Kenroy Gladden won the Weekend Warriors Category followed by Vallan Symns in 2nd, Sherman Thomas in 3rd, Alicia Thompson in 4th, and Ryan Willoughby in 5th.
Nathalie Lovell won the Women’s Category. Marleny De La Fuente was 2nd and Paulita Chavarria rode in 3rd.
Cano says the Monday Road Rage race was sponsored by Cano’s Courier Services, Best Care Pharmacy Ltd, A-Z Learning Tree Preschool, Chon Saan Palace Bmp.
Officials/Presenters were Chrisbert Berry, Adrian Aleman, Charlie Bernardez, Nikki Augustine, Erik Erikson, and Christian Avila.
