By Benjamin Flowers: The United Democratic Party (UDP) announced today that it has rescheduled the press conference planned for Tuesday, August 3, following an angry letter to Mayor Earl Trapp from five councilors representing the People’s United Party (PUP).
The councilors told Trapp not to host the press conference in the San Ignacio Town Hall and threatened to “expose his political agenda” if he did not heed their warnings.
since then, the UDP has rescheduled the conference for Wednesday, August 4, 2021, with a new venue, the San Ignacio Resort Hotel (inside the Bedran Hall). The conference is still set to start at 10:00 a.m.
The party reiterated its special invitation to former government workers who have been terminated by the Briceno administration, to come to the event for free legal advice.
Trapp will be joined by UDP Party Leader Patrick Faber for the event.
