42,000 doses of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccines just arrived in Belize,’ says British High Commission

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The 42,000 doses of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccines promised by Great Britain to Belize just arrived in Belize from the United Kingdom said the British High Commission on social media late Tuesday afternoon.

“The vaccines will be used to help strengthen Belize’s effort to fight the COVID-19 pandemic and keep its people safe,” said the British High Commission.

The vaccines are a welcome shipment at a time when the Belize Ministry of Health and Wellness is ramping up its vaccination campaign amidst a rise in cases in the country.
