By Benjamin Flowers: The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) has reported over 120 newly-confirmed cases of COVID-19 after Belize’s first Emancipation Day weekend.
Today, the Ministry released the data covering the period July 31-August 3, which showed 121 new cases detected from a sample batch of 2,069 tests.
Of the new cases, 62 were female and 59 were males.
The positivity rate for the four-day period stood at 5.95 while the country’s national total for confirmed cases now stands at 14,284.
