By Aaron Humes: Controlled prices of Bebe Agua and La Gitana flour are unchanged, states the Supplies Control Unit of the Belize Bureau of Standards in a statement.
Any change such as the two dollars reported earlier this week must be discussed between bakers, the Government, and ADM Belize Mills, the sole producer of flour in Belize.
The SCU regulates price-controlled goods such as sugar, flour, beans, C-grade rice, sliced and unsliced bread, liquefied petroleum gas and fuel, and sanitizers and cleaners. Its control is not limited to these products but it does not control other regularly used goods.
