Ministry of Health and Wellness confirms 51 new cases of COVID-19

By Aaron Humes: The number of new cases continues to average more than forty per day, keeping the level of active cases high.

With 51 new cases today and 46 recovered, the number of active cases now stands at 437.

A further 195 cases are under investigation, ten persons remain hospitalized and four are in intensive care. No new deaths were reported.

Nearly 13,600 Belizeans have recovered from COVID-19 as total cases close in on 15 thousand overall. Close to a percent of the population has experienced the disease since March 25, 2020.
