Belize condemns violence against St. Vincent and the Grenadines Prime Minister

By Benjamin Flowers: Today, the government of Belize publicly spoke out against the recent violent attack against Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph Gonsalves.

GOB via the official Twitter account for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tweeted, “Violence has no place in Caribbean politics. Belize condemns the attack on Rt Hon Ralph Gonsalves yesterday in Kingstown. We wish PM Gonsalves @comraderalph a speedy recovery.”

Protestors impeded Gonsalves’ vehicle and then attacked him as he tried to enter Parliament on Thursday.
