Belize ends week with upward trajectory in active cases

By Aaron Humes: Belize is at 459 active cases of COVID-19 as of the end of the week due to another spike in new cases.

Today sees 56 new cases added with 33 persons recovered.

One new death has been reported, a male from the Belize District, bringing that total to 339.

13 persons are hospitalized and four are in intensive care.

Total confirmed cases are closing in on 15,000 since the start of the pandemic last March.
