One held in murder of Bredda David Obi’s grandson in Dangriga

By Aaron Humes: Police have detained one person pending investigation of the murder of Kwamie Williams, 14, grandson of musician Bredda David Obi, in Dangriga Town Thursday night.

Police say the student had an argument with his stepfather, security guard Ruford Murray, causing him to leave home to visit his grandfather elsewhere in town.

But it appears he didn’t make it as he was shot by a single gunman on bicycle on Gumagarugu Road and died almost immediately.

Police investigations continue.
