Brandon Adolphus, Victor Figueroa win 5k, 10K Juiciness Wellness Revolution races

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Brandon Adolphus and Victor Figueroa won the 5k and 10k Juiciness Wellness Revolution Race on Sunday in Belmopan.

The race was sponsored by the Juiciness Habits for Wellness which sells health juices on delivery in the capital.

“Many thanks to all runners, participants, and volunteers who joined us for the in-person run,” said Diana Arias of Juiciness Habits for Wellness. “It was a complete success.”

Adolphus running for the Westrac Slick Runners won the 5k in 17 minutes and 30 seconds. The 5k race started at 5:30 am at the Sir George Brown Park, went around the Ring Road, Hummingbird Avenue, Libertad St, and finished at the Sir George Brown Park.

The Westrac squad swept the podium with Victor Rauda capturing second in 19:07 and Jarren Penner finishing third in 25:30.

Splash Runners’ Juan Santos ran in 4th in 26:02 while independent Evan Sandoval was 5th in 27:04.

Victor Figueroa won the 10k in 40 minutes and three seconds.

The 10k started at the Sir George Brown Park, took the Ring Road, on to the George Price Boulevard, up to ArtBox, turned onto the George Price Highway, to Guanacaste Park, then took the Hummingbird Highway, turned onto Forest Drive, back to the Ring Road, finishing where it started at the Sir George Brown Park.

Splash Runners’ Wilbert Young finished in second place in 41:07. Luis August of Malcom’s Garage was third in 41:29.

Mynor Cabrejo took 4th in 43 minutes flat.

Westrac Slick Runners’s Arlin Bautista was 5th in 43:31.
