Cayo man, 30, charged for ‘unlawful sex’ with minor

By BBN Staff: A man from San Jose Succotz Village, Cayo District has been charged for having unlawful sexual intercourse with a teenage girl.

Authorities have arrested and charged Gerardo Alejandro Guerra, 30, on Friday, after the minor, in the presence of a social worker, reported to police that she went with him to a hotel and had sex.

Guerra was detained at the San Ignacio Police Station over the weekend.
