By Benjamin Flowers: The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) has announced that over 3,500 Belizeans were vaccinated on Monday.
The MOHW’s latest vaccination report shows that a total of 3,544 Belizeans received their shots on August 7, bringing the national total for those vaccinated (only received one vaccine dose) up to 141,770.
Meanwhile, the number of fully vaccinated people (received two vaccine doses) has gone up to 56,330. The Ministry’s data accounts for those who received both the AstraZeneca and Sinopharm vaccines.
Vaccination activities are ongoing all over the country. Walk-ins are accepted, however, the MOHW encourages Belizeans to schedule an appointment at https://vrsa.health.gov.bz/.
